“Naxatras is a hard psychedelic rock band from Greece. They have been playing together for three years developing their sound. This year sees the release of their first LP. Naxatras recorded the album live 100% analog at Magnetic Fidelity Studios with a guy named Jesus. Only analog equipment was used during the recording, mixing and mastering stages. Naxatras recorded the album at a small village in northern Greece in just 3 days.” — Stoned Meadow of Doom

Fuzz simply wouldn’t be able to call itself a psychedelic stoner rock radio station without Naxatras in its music library. So it’s needless to say: we play at least one track from this album every day on Fuzz radio.

The moods and atmospheres these guys have created live in the studio is absolutely mind blowing. True human chemistry is a hard thing to come by, and when it all comes together it’s like fucking magic (and it’s almost enough to make one believe in a greater power or pre-determined destiny). Naxatras really managed to capture lightning in a bottle with their self-titled debut, and that’s why it was a no-brainer that I should share it on this blog.
